Client Profile

The Client is an SAP product-based company, with main operations in the US. Their product is mainly involved in providing data archiving, integration and migration services for their customers in the finance sector.

Challenges

Business Perspective

The main challenge for our Client was balancing their internal product development and their external services for their customers. An imbalance between these two areas was causing delayed project deliverables for their customers while missing out on the timely release of the bug fixes and enhancements to their existing products. The ideal solution would be the ability to build two separate teams to manage the contrasting capabilities and different KPIs of Product Development and Customer Support Services to measure the success or failure of each of the expected deliverables. This would help them successfully carry out the implementations of the latest and greatest version of their product for central finance-based data migration projects.

Technical Perspective

On the Services Delivery side, the client was dealing with a large amount of data that required source validation and accurate currency conversion and amount validation for all entries. This data was being presented in UFF file format which was taking more time than expected for ensuring data hygiene. The entire data validation process was very tedious with processes involving the exchange of multiple UFF files.

The client approached ComTek for a feasible solution in October 2021.

Solution Strategy 

ComTek revamped the client’s entire service approach by acting as their extended team. With a dedicated team to handle the client’s service requirements, ComTek was quickly able to support them with data archiving, integration, and migration services for multiple projects at the same time. Our expert resources were a part of the end-to-end process and were actively involved from the planning and discovery phase to the design, development and deployment phases.

We closely worked with the client to understand their needs and scale our resources as needed. Through a proactive and leadership approach, our senior resources handled projects involving some of the leading FinTech firms to deliver superior outcomes for our clients. The implementation of SLAs; RCAs; KPIs; KBs; enabled efficient resource allocation and enhanced productivity. We also kept track of the progress of all projects and ensured the quality of delivery with daily, weekly, and quarterly Status Updates; and regular performance reviews of the consultants for the client.
