CIOs are rising to the challenge with the help of technologists to reform infrastructure, software, security, and of course applications. Service deliveries using AI and ML are at the top of this list.
From being an option, automation has become a must-have for businesses to succeed. The competition and the need to hit the ground running after the pandemic are two of the main reasons for this shift in trend. Start-ups began as digital natives and realized the benefits of automation like scalability, resilience, reliability, and efficiency from the beginning of their journeys. On the other hand, established organizations required the push of a changing marketplace to gain a more robust IT posture and embrace automation to disrupt the status quo.
As I see it, efforts are needed in three main areas to bring about real transformation using automation.
